CASMI Scholarship Program

2020 Application Process Opens January 15 and Closes May 1

Past Scholarship Recipients: 2019, 2018, 2017, 2016, 2015, 2014, 2013

The Chicago Association of Spring Manufacturers is proud to sponsor a scholarship program to benefit dependents of the employees of Primary Member (spring manufacturers) and Associate Member (supplier) companies

The association, known as “CASMI,” was founded in 1944 to promote the interests of the Spring Manufacturing Industry in the greater Chicago area. It has engaged in many activities including sponsorship of the biennial SpringWorld Trade Show. The success of that event makes it possible to fund many significant programs, including this scholarship program. As a result, CASMI is grateful to the many industry suppliers and spring manufacturers from all over the world who make it possible to provide this support that helps recipients to obtain the education that is so necessary to personal success. In particular, CASMI would like to thank Rosemont Exposition Services (RES) for sponsoring the Terry & Jerry Reese post-graduate scholarship in the amount of $2,500. Also, we'd like to thank the Joseph H. Goldberg Family Foundation and International Spring Co., which is providing $3,000 in undergraduate scholarship funding in 2020.

This scholarship program is administered by Scholarship Management Services®, a division of Scholarship America®. Scholarship Management Services is the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship and tuition reimbursement programs for corporations, foundations, associations and individuals. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, gender, disability or national origin.

CASMI members or staff are not involved in the selection process in any way. All eligible students are encouraged to apply for these awards. While awards are not “renewable,” students are eligible to reapply every year they may be in school.

Parents and students should review this material and request applications before the deadline date of May 1, 2020.

Good Luck!
