The biennial SPRING WORLD® Trade Show presents new technology in the spring and wire forming industries, and brings thousands of industry professionals to the Chicago area from all over the world. Since the first SPRING WORLD® show was held in 1959, it has become the largest gathering of the Spring Manufacturing and Wire Forming Industry anywhere in the world at one time.  This year's 50th anniversary show promises to continue the tradition. Exhibitors from all over the world have signed up to bring the latest in equipment, metals and technological updates to the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center on October 13 through 15th. 2010. Coming back are many colleagues from previous Spring World shows as well as many new editions to our supplier network.

• Spring World 2010 will return to the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center October 13 through 15, 2010.  Conveniently located to O'Hare Airport, the Convention Center is within walking distance of many dining and entertainment options. Visit the Convention Center Website for transportation information and directions.
• An exhibitor list and map of the show floor is available on the Exhibit Hall page of this website. Also available on this page is a download of an interactive version of the map and a list of exhibitors.  This information changes frequently, so we encourage you to visit the page frequently for the latest information.
• Back by popular demand, SMI will be hosting a cocktail reception immediately following the show close on Wednesday, October 13 2010.  SMI invites you to join your colleages and friends beginning at 6:30pm in rooms 1 & 2 and 13 & 14 for butler passed hors d’oeuvres and open bar. This popular networking event should not be missed. Contact SMI for more details.
• For the first time ever, Spring World will feature FREE on-floor education sessions to our attendees. Exhibitors will present hour-long seminars on topics of interest to Spring Manufacturers.  Registration for these seminars is not required and a schedule of seminars is posted on the Show Schedule Page of this website. Additional seminars will be added as they are confirmed by presenters. 
• Advanced Registration for Spring World is free until September 20, 2010. Registration can be completed online. Or download the registration form and mail it in to Spring World Registrations, c/o Global Reservations Inc. (GRI), 807 West Pioneer Drive, Irving, TX 75061. Registrations received after September 20 will incurr the onsite registration fee of $15.00 per person for CASMI Members and Exhibitors or $25.00 per person for all others.
• Special hotel rates have been negotiated for Spring World registrants at the Crowne Plaza O'Hare, Rosemont Hotel (formerly the Sofitel) and the Comfort Inn O'Hare.  The Crowne Plaza and Rosemont are also offering complimentary in-room internet and the Crowne Plaza will offer complimentary breakfast. Information about the hotels can be found on the Housing page of this website.  Special rates can only be obtained by reserving your room through global reservations, our housing bureau.  Special rates can only be guaranteed for rooms booked no later than September 13, 2010.
